Hi I’m Rick, the co-owner of Opulent Sounds! Me & James decided to start Opulent Sounds to provide our clients with a professional DJ hire service that stands out from the crowd! Music is a major passion of mine & what started as a hobby in my bedroom is now a profession that I LOVE! Nothing makes me happier then seeing the crowd dancing the night away to the music that I’m playing, I want the night to be remembered as one of the best nights they’ve ever had! I like all genres of music & I’m capable of mixing them all….. But my favourite genres are old skool & new RnB, Hip Hop & House.
Hi I’m James & I am proud to not only be a DJ for Opulent Sounds but also a joint owner in the business. I have only been a DJ for a few years but my LOVE and passion for music stems right back to my childhood. I was raised on 80’s music and Motown but have an appreciation for all types of music including chart music, indie rock and RnB. When the opportunity came to change the Mobile DJ industry, I couldn’t wait. I was fed up with the tired looking DJ set-up and sounds and really wanted to bring a modern feel that I could be proud to put my name to. I truly believe that we are the best at what we do and you won’t find a service out there that is better.
